Book of Charms by Realistic is another 'Book of' slot, but with a twist. For a start, Realistic have taken the whole Egyptian theme common to 'Book of' slots and mixed in a bit of magic.

The result is the 5x3 is set against a split background, with half in the desert with a dusty explorer type looking on, and the other in a magical pink landscape with a beautiful sorceress standing beside the grid. 

The low-paying symbols are card ranks from nine to Aces. There are four-leaf clovers, coins, horseshoes, amulets, and ladybirds for high-paying symbols. The prizes for all these are pretty generous, with the max payout from the low pays at 12.5 x the bet for 5 Aces on a payline. Ladybirds and amulets pay 75x the bet for a five-of-a-kind combination.

The betting range is low, from 0.10 to 5.00, but this is made up for by the fact that wins are calculated using the total bet, not a line bet. 

When we see "Book of" in a slot title, we expect to see only one feature symbol, the combined "Book" wild/scatter. The Book of Charms does things a little differently here as well. 

There are actually a total of three feature symbols - Lady Wilds, Book Scatters, and Pink Orb Scatters. The Lady Wild acts as a stand-in for all the regular symbols to help from wins and also double any wins it has a hand in forming. It also awards payouts of its own for two or more, up to 900 x the bet for 5. The Book also acts as a Wild but doesn't award a win multiplier. 

The Scatters each trigger a separate bonus round and can work together during these to create some considerable win potential. They also give scatter and line payouts, starting at 2 x the bet for 2 Pink Orb Scatters all the way up to 500 x the bet for 5 in view. The Book Scatter awards up to 200 x the bet for five in view. Line payouts are much higher, up to 900 x the bet for 5.

Three or more Pink Orb Scatters anywhere on the grid trigger the Pink Orb Free Spins feature. This awards 15+ free spins and an automatic 3 x win multiplier applied to all combos. The round can retrigger with more orb Scatters, and if the player triggers the Book Free Spins feature, from the Pink Orb Free Spins, the multiplier carries over to the new round. 

The Book Free Spins feature awards 10+ free spins with possible retriggers. The big boost to the win potential of this round comes in the form of an expanding symbol. This is randomly chosen at the beginning of the round. Whenever the chosen symbol lands, it expands to cover the entire reel. So if a player is lucky enough to have the Pink Orb as the expanding symbol, they will get massive win and Free Spin potential.

To be honest, when I first saw this game, I thought to myself ``Who needs another Egyptian-themed "Book of slot"?"
