Aztec Blaze

Aztec Blaze by Pragmatic Play takes us to the jungles of South America in search of the riches of the Aztecs. The 6x4 grid features 25 fixed paylines which the player can land potential wins. 

And to give a helping hand, the reels respin and Colossal Symbols land after every win, increasing the chances of creating a new winning combo. Lucky players who land a series of consecutive respins will see the win multiplier growing to an incredible x 10. The betting range is from 0.10 to 125.00, and your bet level divided by 25 gives you your line bet, which wins are calculated from. 

Three matching symbols landing on adjacent reels starting from the left are needed for a win. The symbols are J-A card ranks for the low pays, and four animal head totems for the premiums. These are a monkey, a snake, a crocodile, and a bird.

The Wild symbol can land on all reels to help form winning combinations by standing in for regular symbols. It also gives payouts of its own of between 3 x and 8 x the bet for combos of three to six on a payline.

The Aztec Pyramid symbol is the Scatter. It can only land on reels one and six, and triggers the Free Spins and awards a prize of 2 x the bet when two are in view on the grid.

And thanks to one of the bonus features, any symbol can grow to a massive 4x4 in size, but I’ll tell you all about that below.

The first bonus in Aztec Blaze is active in both the base game and the Free Spins. This is the Colossal Symbols feature. After every win, a respin takes place, with Colossal Symbols growing in size and an increasing win multiplier following every successful respin. After the initial win, Colossal Symbols 2x2 in size land randomly on any reel from 2 to 5. 

These will reach the max of 4x4 in size after three successful respins. After that, an increasing win multiplier, starting at x 2 for four consecutive respin wins and reaching x 10 for six. If the lucky player keeps landing wins after this, the multiplier and Colossal Symbol size remain at this level until no more wins land. 

2 Scatters on reels 1 and 6 trigger the Free Spins round with 5 "lives". The round plays out as in the base game, with one important difference, the win multiplier and Colossal Symbol size don't reset between wins. The round ends when the player fails to land a win for five spins in a row, and can be retriggered when two Scatters appear on reels one and six.
