Ready for a day out at the races. The Sporting Legends Grand National slot takes us to Cheltenham Racecourse for a feature-packed game which celebrates one of the UK's most popular sporting events. 

This 5x4 game is one of the Sporting Legends series by developer Playtech. This kicked off with the awesome  Frankie Dettori Sporting Legends, a tribute to the famous jockey. The paytable consists of 10 to A card ranks, paying 0.10x, 0.30 and 0.50x the bet for combos of 3 to 5,  and themed premiums. These start with betting slips and a pair of racing glasses, both worth 0.20x, 0.80x and 1x the bet for winning combos. Then comes a horseshoe paying 0.30 to 1.50x the bet, the gold cup, worth 0.40 to 20x the bet, and the racehorse paying 0.50x, 1.50x, and 3x the bet for combinations of 3, 4, and 5. 

The Scatter is the finish post, and three or more in any position will trigger the Free Spins and give generous payouts of 1x, 10x, and 50x the bet. The Wild is a jockey and will help form line wins and also give payouts of 0.50x, 1.50x, and 3x the bet for its own combinations. 

In the base game, some of the starters might get loose and gallop across the grid leaving Wilds in random positions behind them. If one of these Wilds lands on a Scatter, both symbols are active. 

When three or more Scatters are in view, six initial Free Spins are awarded. These can be retriggered from within the round. But before they kick off, there's a horse race, and the first three nags to cross the line will each award one of the following bonus features for the round:

Random Wilds - this can add up to 3 Wilds to the grid on any spin during the bonus round. 

• +3, +5, or +8 spins - adds that amount of extra spins to the round.
• 5x5 Expansion - increases the size of the grid to 5x5
• Pay-All-Ways - Wins are formed on adjacent reels anywhere on the grid. 
• Sticky Wilds -  any Wild that lands sticks.

• No Royals - All the low-paying symbols are removed from the grid.
