Rainbow Riches has become one of the most popular slots of all time. As it was such a massive hit with players, several sequels and spin-offs have been released, including a Slingo version: Slingo Rainbow Riches.
Here’s what you need to know about playing it.
Gameplay takes place on a 5x5 board, and with each turn, a series of balls will land. These balls could be any one of the following symbols:
● A number from 1-75
● Joker - mark off any number on that reel
● Super Joker - mark off any number on the board
● Devil - blocks that reel
● Free Spins - grants an extra spin
The row at the bottom of the board will fill up with a combination of these symbols at every turn.
There are a number of different bonuses available to win on Slingo Rainbow Riches:
This Pick Me bonus presents players with a choice of three wishing wells. Each one contains a multiplier - can you pick the highest one?
50 coins containing multipliers will spin on the screen before coming to a halt. Some of the coins will reveal the multiplier; these are collected and added together for the prize. Players must then click on the oversized coin, which displays the message "collect" and "continue". If continue is chosen, the feature repeats but with higher value coins. This feature can be repeated up to four times, with the multiplier starting at x0.5 and then increasing to x1, x2 and then finally x5/x10.
This is a Pick Me bonus where you’ll have three chances to select a toadstool. Each pick will either reveal a multiplier of x1-x5 or a fairy. If a fairy is revealed, she will uncover three further toadstools.
This is the same as the Magic Toadstool Bonus, except that you will have four picks rather than just three.
Advance along the trail of multipliers by spinning the wheel. Keep advancing the number of steps shown on the wheel until you land the Collect sign.
This bonus is the same as the Road to Riches Bonus, apart from the fact the multipliers are doubled.
12 pots made from bronze, silver and gold will rotate in a circle with the leprechaun in the centre. When they stop, you’ll win the prize that’s in the pot by the pointer.
The aim of the game is to create "slingos" - this means completing a whole row either vertically, horizontally or diagonally. You'll need to complete at least four slingos before you qualify for a prize. However, you can buy further spins if you want to play on and try to claim one of the higher bonuses.
If you are willing to buy extra spins, it's possible to win with more or less every game. However, you can quickly end up spending more on extra spins than you'll win back, so it's vital to get your strategy just right.
